Does ADHD affect meditation, lucid dreaming or astral projection?

I’m attempting lucid dreaming and astral projection, but I seem to be having a hard time when it comes to the meditation aspects.

I never really thought about it, but yesterday a friend mentioned that it could be caused by ADHD, which I was diagnosed with at 14.

Is there any connection there? If so, what can I do to overcome this? Would binaural beats work more efficiently?

If it helps, I’m a 17-year-old male.

take it from me, I’m ADHD and spent four years (from 18 through 21) experimenting with mind expanding drugs because I could control my actions IN my dreams while i slept. Salvia divinorum was the biggest eye opener for me. Now, you SHOULD NOT go try these drugs, you SHOULD listen to the first thing i said. I learned the hard way.
